What is Mindfulness? Mindfulness is the practice of bringing your full attention to the present moment with openness, curiosity, and without judgment. It means being fully engaged in what you're doing, whether it's eating, walking, or simply breathing, instead of getting lost in thoughts about the past or future.

Why Mindfulness, how can it help me? It can help with many things including:
Stress reduction
Boosts memory
Less emotional reactivity
Improved relationships
Increased focus
How do I practice applying Mindfulness? Informal Applying in everyday life: Becoming aware while doing the dishes and really focusing on that one dish in your hands. Applying presences

Formal Training the attention of the mind. It is like a workout for the brain like we would workout the body at the gym. We meditate using a the focal object. So we can learn to become less distracted and more focused.

There are three stages of mindfulness 1. Bring a focal point into your awareness
Watch it unfold
Remain neutral & curious
For me personally practicing mindfulness has great improved my life. Having ADHD and mental health going on for years put a strain on me. Mindfulness has allowed me to bring myself often to the presence moment and stop leaping into the future all the time. I've stopped reaching for perfection and the right timing. Now is the time to do what we can, when we can to help master our our minds. We are the ones living in our mind, so make it a happier and healthier place to be with Mindfulness Practices.
